Our skill development summer camps help kids learn transferable skills, like spatial awareness, agility, teamwork and leadership, across numerous sports. From budding athletes to aspiring pros, there’s a camp for everyone to explore new sports and expand their skills.

Training Tigers (ages 9-11)

This camp welcomes kids of all skill levels; you don’t have to be a super-athlete to be a Training Tiger! Tigers are introduced to strength exercises, exciting games, team activities and sports. These activities focus on building confidence, teamwork, endurance, strength and speed! Each week offers new leaders, new activities, and different guest instructors.

 

All Training Tiger camps are hosted at PISE (4371 Interurban Rd, Victoria).

Active Girls! (ages 11-14)

This program will focus on dynamic movement preparation, skill development and introductory strength and conditioning principles. Specifically designed with female cognitive and physical development characteristics in mind. Coached by female staff with a diverse background in sports and physical activity, this is a great program for all skill levels, abilities and experiences.

Youth Strength & Conditioning (ages 11-15)

Your teen will learn strength and conditioning (S&C) exercises in a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Each day, PISE S&C coaches will incorporate a progression based learning curriculum that will aide participants in developing competency and confidence with specific movement patterns and drills. Participants will learn training techniques associated with strength, speed and power as well as an understanding of appropriate movement preparation and recovery methods to complement athletic performance.

 

Please note that camp is only Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Youth Leadership (Ages 14-16)

The Youth Leadership program is the pathway to becoming a Physical Literacy Leader! Participants ages 14-16 will learn the basics of physical literacy and develop the strong leadership skills that make great leaders in our community. Participants will become NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) certified, learn how to create and facilitate a program for kids, and practice conflict resolution tools. As part of the Youth Leadership program, participants will have the opportunity to volunteer throughout the summer in a minimum of one week long camp! Participants will leave this program with valuable volunteer experience and the tools to become an awesome leader.
