Accessible Fitness

Intensity
Low
High

The Accessible Gym Program allows a space for all individuals diagnosed with a disability or illness to access our Fitness Centre. At this time, the Fitness Centre will be closed to the general public and will solely be open to our program participants. Strength & Conditioning Coaches will be there to provide workout guidance, lift assistance, and expertise. To help with sensory distractions/limitations, music and lights will be lowered; and noise reduction strategies will be in place. PISE has an assortment of lifting and grip aids that participants can borrow if needed. Also, accessible cardio equipment will be available for all participant use during their workouts. This is a sensory friendly space/time that any individual can drop in to, register for, or attend if they have a PISE membership.
