PISE summer camps for ages 2–17 focus on developing fundamental movement skills through a wide range of fun, inclusive activities like sport-based games, wheelchair sports, yoga, sledge hockey, and more. Camps are held at our fully equipped facility and nearby parks, using spaces like our turf field, track, gymnasium, and movement studio. Led by trained leaders with backgrounds in child development and physical literacy, our camps help kids build the confidence and motivation to stay active for life.
Applications are open for 2025/26 school year.
When you become a PISE member, you have access to our high quality performance fitness centre for all abilities, including an impressive range of equipment and access to the Track & Training Zone, 4-lane track, and field.

Whether you’re an intermediate athlete looking to push your limits or an advanced enthusiast seeking continuous improvement, Weekday Warrior provides the perfect blend of intensity and variety.
Under the leadership of Jen Klein, a certified PT and kettlebell coach, licensed skydiver, black belt kickboxer, lawyer, and currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling, you’ll experience a series of workouts designed to boost strength, endurance, and overall athleticism.

Looking to increase your strength this Summer? This class is an advanced option for those who have taken Intro to Strength Training or have previous experience in the gym. Our certified Strength and Conditioning coaches will dive into a variety of exercises for those ready for a challenge!
Looking to learn the fundamentals of strength training? This class has everything you need to get started. Learn the principles and essential movement patterns associated with developing strength, speed, and endurance. Intro to Strength Training was developed to help participants feel comfortable in a gym setting and having the confidence in your body to maintain your healthy, active lifestyle! Our coaches will teach participants Olympic lifting, resistance training, compound lifts and much more! Open to anyone 16+
Fusion fitness is a mind-body class that provides the best of both worlds by integrating movements from Pilates and Yoga! Enhance your body awareness, posture, balance, flexibility, leg and arm strength and core stability using the best piece of fitness equipment available today… your body! Prior experience is not required.
Strength training at any age is important to general well-being and health. Our coach will monitor intensity levels to keep them low while still working to help maintain bone density, improve balance, boost energy levels, elevate cognitive functioning, and alleviate discomforts. Join us to learn the proper techniques essential to feeling comfortable in a gym setting and have the confidence in your body to maintain your healthy, active lifestyle!
The Victoria Wheelchair Sports Club and PISE are proud to offer a Strength & Conditioning program designed specifically for people with physical or cognitive limitations. This program will take place in PISE’s main Fitness Centre, focusing on mobility, functionality and stability, while taking into account your sport and/or fitness needs.

The PISE Kindergym provides an opportunity for children ages 1-4 to explore different types of play based movement, specialized equipment and will allow them to build socioemotional skills with others! PISE staff will be present to play, assist with equipment and supervise the Kindergym. Participants will have access to our gymnastics equipment and a possible variety of specialized equipment such as our balance bikes and more!

This program is open to children with any form of developmental disability (cognitive or physical) or illness. The program is designed to improve confidence and competence in movement skills and provide a safe place to play with peers. PISE leaders adapt activities to make sure that all children find success and have their individual needs met.
This program develops fundamental movement skills like running, wheeling, throwing, catching and balance. As well, it builds on the skills developed in early childhood in to more complex movement patterns and sport skills.
Siblings are welcome to enroll in the program too!
Join PISE Physical Literacy Leaders for a fun filled hour of movement exploration. Play, explore and learn new games while developing physical literacy. Please register for this FREE program thanks to funding from the Canadian Paralympic Committee. This program is for children who use manual chairs, walkers, strollers and power mobility chairs!

This high level program will focus on performance elements, with a higher training intensity than the Youth S+C Foundations program. Open to youth 12-18 years old, the program is coached by PISE Strength and Conditioning Coaches, utilizing our various performance training spaces. This program is well suited for athletes looking to take their training to the next level with more advanced movements and training plans.

In PISE’s Youth Leadership camp, teens will have an opportunity to learn leadership, communication, and role modelling skills. Youth will learn from the PISE Physical Literacy Team about fundamental movement skills, observation and analysis. Through practical experience, youth will gain knowledge about the principles of physical literacy, how to lead a group and encourage kids to be active for life! Each youth will participate in at least one week volunteer placement in one of our kids’ summer camps! They will learn firsthand what it’s like to be a summer camp leader at PISE.

Are you looking for the expertise and facilities to help you take your game to the next level? PISE Strength and Conditioning Coaches will put you through your paces each day, focusing on building strength, speed and conditioning through training foundations, games and activities. Participants will explore a holistic approach to sport, health and wellness. Facility access includes the Fitness Centre, Movement Studio, 400m track, outdoor training zone, newly renovated gymnasium and full turf field. We’ll be sure to save time in the afternoon for some fun, too!
This camp is open to participants aged 12-15. Participants should motivated and prepared for a high intensity week of programming.

This program is designed to introduce participants to a variety of sports and activities, including dynamic movement and foundational strength and conditioning principles. With a focus on skill development, physical and mental growth, and preparing the body for different activities, participants will learn how to stay active in ways that are fun and effective. Specifically designed with female cognitive and physical development characteristics in mind, and led by female staff with diverse expertise in sports and physical activity, this program is perfect for all skill levels and offers a welcoming space to explore new sports, build strength, and improve fitness.

This modern boardroom is a dynamic, light-filled space designed to support collaboration and focus. With seating for up to 16 people, it offers ample room for team meetings, strategy sessions, and executive briefings. A whole wall of windows floods the room with natural light and provides sweeping views of our field, creating an inspiring backdrop for productive discussions. Outfitted with high-end furnishings and integrated presentation technology such as a projector, and its own wi-fi. We have two large multi-purpose rooms that can hold up to 72 people. Both can be divided to create two smaller rooms that hold 36. Each room is equipped with a computer, projector and whiteboard with access to catering services, making them perfect for courses, seminars and beyond. And, with a rubberized sport floor in one of the rooms, you can easily and safely get participants up and moving.
