PISE’s Teacher Partnership Program is a comprehensive, embedded professional development program for middle school teachers. PISE Physical Literacy leaders facilitate lesson plans and work with teachers on a weekly basis with the goal of enriching physical education. Participating teachers receive professional development, access to lesson plans and activity databases, as well as resources. Game Ready – Intro to Football Leadership Summer Camps

The Washington Kids Foundation, in partnership with PISE, is offering an open and inclusive camp where the fundamental movement skills needed for sport and football are taught through practice and play. The camp will consist of many fun games and activities that are football & non-football based. The camp will also teach leadership skills to help youth be successful on and off the playing field. Coaches are former pro, semi-pro, university, or current/past Rebels players.

Youth Leadership at PISE (Ages 14-17)

In PISE’s Youth Leadership camp, teens will have an opportunity to learn leadership, communication, and role modelling skills. Youth will learn from NCCP master coach developer Chris Wright about fundamental movement skills, observation and analysis. Through practical experience, youth will gain knowledge about the principles of physical literacy, how to lead a group and encourage kids to be active for life! Each youth will participate in at least one week volunteer placement in one of our kids’ summer camps! They will learn firsthand what it’s like to be a summer camp leader at PISE.

Youth Strength and Conditioning: Fitness Foundations

This program will focus on Dynamic Movement Preparation, Fundamental Movement Skill development and introductory Strength and Conditioning movements and principles aimed at increasing strength, speed and endurance. Designed for anyone aged 11 to 17 at any skill level. Coached by PISE Strength and Conditioning coaches, this is a great program for athletes looking to improve and for beginners looking to gain skills and fitness.

Youth Performance Camp (12-15)

Are you looking for the expertise and facilities to help you take your game to the next level? PISE Strength and Conditioning Coaches will put you through your paces each day, focusing on building strength, speed and conditioning through training foundations, games and activities. Participants will explore a holistic approach to sport, health and wellness. Facility access includes the Fitness Centre, Movement Studio, 400m track, outdoor training zone, newly renovated gymnasium and full turf field. We’ll be sure to save time in the afternoon for some fun, too!

This camp is open to participants aged 12-15. Participants should motivated and prepared for a high intensity week of programming.
